History
Fattoria del Cerro, located in Acquaviva Montepulciano - Siena, extends over 600 hectares, 181 are vineyards and with its 93 hectares of Nobile di Montepulciano vineyards, is the largest private estate producing this amazing wine. The different expositions of the vineyards and the unique varieties of the soils donate us the possibilities to select the best grapes to craft high quality wines. Prugnolo Gentile, the grape behind Nobile di Montepulciano, is a clone of Sangiovese, typical of this area, which over the course of the centuries, has adapted itself to the local growing conditions.
